Purpose

The purpose of George Teague & Friends Foundation is to address the needs of children and community by developing additional afterschool programs, building mentor relationships and providing access to special events for underprivileged children. The Foundation is dedicated to delivering positive messages, mentors and support programs to aid children. The Foundation was developed as a means to provide support for children, which are our community's most valuable resource. More than 107 former University of Alabama football players, many of whom currently play in the NFL, participate in enabling the Foundation to further its goals and mission. Each player provides positive influences for children and community outreach programs.

In addition, George Teague & Friends Foundation assists other charitable organizations to raise money for causes addressed on behalf of children and community outreach programs. Celebrity appearances are coordinated for telethons and other fundraising events to provide support to other charitable organizations, such as the Childrens Trust Fund of Alabama. All funds are to be used and applied in whole exclusively for charitable purposes.
